Meet Dr. Cargasacchi
John M. Cargasacchi, D.D.S.
Dr. John Cargasacchi went to college at the University of the Pacific. He graduated in 1986 with a degree in Biological Science. He then attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco and graduated in 1989. Dr. Cargasacchi then completed a one year advanced post graduate residency at Strong Memorial Hospital through the University of Rochester in Rochester New York. It was during this time that he decided to specialize in Periodontology and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, receiving advanced training in Periodontology and Dental Implants. He received his specialty certification in Periodontology in 1993. Dr. Cargasacchi has been a part-time clinical professor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and an instructor at Cypress College where he taught Periodontology.
Dr. Cargasacchi has been practicing Periodontics and placing Dental Implants in his Cerritos office since 1994. Dr. Cargasacchi passionately pursues continuing dental education in dentistry in order to maintain current, proven methods of treatment for his patients.
Dr. Cargasacchi spends most of his free time with his wife, Paula, and their two boys, John Carlo and Adam. Dr. Cargasacchi enjoys fishing, hiking and spending time outdoors.
